These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and Lyrics Library, operated by Eleazer Judan Toluan (“Company”, “we”, “us”), concerning your use of the Lyrics Library mobile applications and the website https://lyricslibrary.app (together, the “Service”).
By downloading, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service
Lyrics Library helps you write, search, organize, annotate with chords, build setlists, and perform song lyrics. Features may change over time. We may update, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are a minor where you live (generally under 18), you must have a parent or guardian’s permission to use the Service.
3. Accounts
You may use the Service with an anonymous Firebase session or by signing in with Apple or Google. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your device and sign-in credentials secure. You must provide accurate information when you register and keep it updated.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that create risk for the Service or other users.
4. Your content and copyright
You retain ownership of original lyrics and other content you create in the app (“Your Content”). You are solely responsible for Your Content and for ensuring you have the rights needed to store, display, search, download, share, or perform it.
Important: Song lyrics, chord charts, and related materials are often protected by copyright. Lyrics Library does not grant you rights to copyrighted works owned by others. You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes, including educational and personal use consistent with applicable copyright law. The Service may include this notice in the app: all lyrics are property and copyright of their owners and are provided for educational purposes and personal use only.
You grant us a limited license to host, store, sync, and display Your Content solely as needed to operate the Service for you (for example, cloud backup in Firestore under your user ID). We do not claim ownership of Your Content.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose, including copyright infringement
- Attempt to access another user’s library or circumvent security or authentication
- Scrape, harvest, or systematically extract data from the Service without our written permission
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service, servers, or networks
- Upload malware or harmful code
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation
- Abuse support channels or submit false reports
6. Third-party services
The Service uses Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, and related infrastructure) and may open third-party sites (for example App Store, Google Play, or Facebook). Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services.
Online lyric search or download features, when available, may retrieve content from third parties. You remain responsible for how you use any results.
7. Intellectual property of Lyrics Library
The Lyrics Library name, logos, app design, software, and website (excluding Your Content and third-party content) are owned by us or our licensors. You receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the apps as distributed through official stores, subject to these Terms.
8. Open source
The apps may include open-source components. Those components are licensed under their respective licenses, summarized on our Open Source Licenses page.
9. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that cloud sync will meet every expectation.
10. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) USD $50.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those places, our liability is limited to the fullest extent allowed.
11. Indemnity
You agree to defend and indemnify us against claims arising from Your Content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or of others’ rights (including copyright).
12. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling the apps and, if desired, requesting cloud data deletion as described in our Privacy Policy. We may terminate or suspend access if you violate these Terms.
13. Changes
We may revise these Terms by posting an updated version with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in Metro Manila shall have exclusive jurisdiction, except where consumer protection laws require otherwise.
